October 17, 200520 yr undo the jubilee clips, remove the airbox or squeeze it out but be carefull you dont break anything.Then remove the 15mm bolt (i think ) on the bottom of the carb and clean all of the jets out. Simple lol

October 17, 200520 yr Author clened it cant get the b***ard back on i need to take the airbox off to get it on but the airbox is connected to a removable piece of frame but so i the exaust so my friend is coming round tomorow to have a look
October 17, 200520 yr Good lad for having a go anyway, and it's bloody good that you don't feel daft asking the questions. Everybody does everything for the first time some time, the idiot is the one who's too proud to ask - like me You can learn a lot from watching people, but I reckon you can learn a fair bit from sh*tting yourself as bits fall out everywhere Been there many a time - even at work.
October 17, 200520 yr Trust me, the carb will go back on. Be patient and keep trying, you don't need to force it. If the jubilee clip is causing problems, leave it off until you get the carb on, then gently open the clip completely and prise it just wide enough to go over the rubber, then do it back up. Everyone thinks the carb will never go on again when they do this job for the first time but it gets easier the more times you do it. Have a break then go back to it when you feel more relaxed.
October 18, 200520 yr I once saw a rider ( i wont mention his name lol) who lost his temper with the bike gave the bike a kick, and hey presto the carb came clean off. no tools or swet ( I dont think he used the opportunity to clean the jets though! ) Edited October 18, 200520 yr by fellonmelug
October 18, 200520 yr Author thanks guys im at school at the moment it i.c.t . On my bike evrything is jam packed together probly to save space but its harder to work with the bike because it dosnt have much room to get your hands in
