2004 290 How To Adjust Rear Brake Pedal

Featured Replies

Ye i know, seems like a dumb question. Its super simple on all my other bikes but the brake pedal adjustment hardware is tucked in super tight behind the side frame,i cant get to it,is there a trick? Thanks

One bolt removes the entire pedal with the adjustable pushrod. Fit and try, them cinch it all back up. Ck for bearing/bush wear as well. Be sure to leave a bit of slack so the MC piston may return fully.

Chairs,

I've just fitted one of those brass bushes to the brake lever from Splatshop, lovely solid feel now without any slop so a cheap and practical fix!
