So I bought my first GG the other day and I'm not sure how tight to screw in the air filter retaining screw. I feel like I'm over tightening it, but obviously I don't want it to fall out.

    Try using your left hand not sure why but seems easier.

    as above pinch up as its squashing foam so seals eay enough.
