Gas Gas Fuel Cap.

Featured Replies

Just picked up a used 2011 250 txt pro. The rubber o-ring that seals the fuel cap on just falls out after every refueling. i'm wondering if the original owner refitted a improper size o-ring.  Could anyone measure their oring so i can reference a proper fitting one,The gas gas mirco-fiche only lists the entire cap.

Clean both the O ring and the cap off and smear a tiny bit of Tiger Seal (or similar product) on the O ring on the upper edge which sits in the cap, this should hold it in place.

Looks a little different there Bond. Although i almost guarantee gas gas did not change the oring. Looks as if they only changed the little screw tab

Picture of said fuel cap for reference.

Yeah that will do. DId have it in my hands (friend forgot to put his back on after tanking, so he borrowed one of mine, but forgot to look at the O ring. Will do this afternoon or tomorow.
