Can this be done and if so what parts are needed. Is it just barrel,head and piston.

Thinking about a gas gas 250 to 300

What year and model

Manual does not give a different number for the crank. However its not totally clear on this. My guess is the 250 to 300 are the same. You need piston, barrel and head (off around the same year --> water cooling system differs).

 

Although I would not really see the point.
