Coach Silencer

Featured Replies

For what it's worth, this is what the inside of a Coach silencer looks like.  I had to open both sides in order to get it cleaned up. Upon first inspection after opening, none of the perforations were visible. What a PITA to clean up.

Also of note, there are some sort of baffles in the interior of the perforated section. I'm hoping that the clean up and repacking will be worth the effort

Any chance of a picture of the whole silencer? What version of the coach is it from?

Here you go.  Aluminum sleeve is to hold an aftermarket spark arrestor.

Personally I don't think the graphics could have any more hideous

Interesting, it looks the same on the outside as the one on my 309 but it only has a simple parallel perforated tube running through it.

I ended up making a tool to try and help push the packing material in but was never very pleased with the results I got. I ended up buying a WES silencer at least you could repack it reasonably easily.
