November 6, 200520 yr Saw one today at the Barnsley trial at Thurlstone. It looks like a Sherco but doesn't if you see what I mean.
November 6, 200520 yr Hi Nigel, Highland Leisure Sport had one on display at the Bon Accord trial today. Frame looks to be powder coated and is quite thick, not thin like on road bike frames. There is a lot of room at the front of the motor, the radiator is a KTM item and is much shorter than previously, now like a Gas Gas. No rear light on the mudguard only a front light. I like it! Cheers... Big John <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you had the tape measure out to see which slot in your emporium that one will best fit?
November 7, 200520 yr Author frame is indeed thickly powder coated it has small thick stickers for where your boots rub ive added a bit more protection with sticky real carbon fibre everything seems to be nicely finished, there is a lot of space around the engine you could probably change the piston without taking the tank off!
November 7, 200520 yr I am sooooo Jeleaous! I have never wanted anything more than one of those in my life before! (if I start saving now, I might afford in the next decade or so!)
November 8, 200520 yr From various pictures the new 06 290 seems to have a lot more ground clearance. Very tasty bike, I was going to swap bikes next year but I am very tempted to swap now.
