August 11, 201610 yr Hi, I have recently purchased a 2006 Sherco 2.9 and the front mud guard is rubbing on the front and back side of the fender against the tire. I tried heating it in the center and bending it back in place. I tried spacing the front of the fender on the brace to bring it up and that worked for a day or so before contouring back to the tire. Has anyone else had this same issue? The fender is in excellent shape and I fear if I order a new one that it will do the same thing. Is there any way to make this fender rigid again and getting it spaced off the front tire without ruining it? Thank you for any help or suggestions

August 12, 201610 yr A small piece of aluminum strap (curved to match the fender) with a couple of longer screws helps spread the fender and helps the two mounting points from cracking in a crash (which they do easily).
