October 19, 20169 yr Where is the most price conscious place to get a new clutch for my 2008 SY250? Is there any clever parts swaps with other Yamaha's? i.e. te Montesa Cr clutch.
October 31, 20169 yr Never had a single issue with my 08 SY250 clutch. I use Maxima Lite 75wt in it. If you think it's dragging, I'd take it apart, LIGHTLY sand the glaze off the fibre plates and sand the metal plates with 80 grit sand paper to rough them up. Put it back together with the Maxima in the tranny and then try it.
