January 19, 200422 yr Be in no doubt ALL the manufacturers (excepting Montesa) will produce 2 strokes next year.

January 23, 200422 yr According to T+MX news today, the four banger montesa may be ridden in the Scottish by Amos, as may the sherco four stroke .Note the use of the word "may". Time will tell but apparently montesa ARE releasing a four stroke THIS YEAR. We'll see
January 23, 200422 yr Freixa is apparently riding the 4 stroke as from April (maybe its not ready before then?) so expect him and at least Amos on them in Scotland. If its good enough he will be trying it out in the WTC.

January 26, 200422 yr I was told last year by someone in a position to know, that the four stroke Beta has been ready for a while. It has an engine of Beta design and manufacture, mounted in basically a Rev3 chassis. I guess we will all find out the truth someday, and all of the speculation will be forgotten.
