January 18, 200422 yr i've been sold some motul transoil 10w30 gearbox oil, is this any good ? as i've never used any motul stuff before, i've got an 04 rev'3 any comments on this product guys.
January 18, 200422 yr Motul is VERY popular here in Hong Kong. I've used Motul for fuel/oil mix and it was very good. Haven't used Motul gearbox oil but I'm sure some of my trials friends are using it. Should be fine...even for a lovely new Beta!
January 19, 200422 yr Yes I've used it a lot over the last few years - the cheaper transmission 600 seems to work better than the more expensive 800 in my 2000 Rev3.
January 19, 200422 yr Author cheers guys, yeah stu thought i'd treat myself to a lovely new beta, it stayed in the dining room till christmas, much to the wifes disgust gotta admit after riding a '98 techno it sure feels good, still keep putting my feet down though, should have got the optional stabilisers
January 20, 200422 yr Hey..Scorpion..I like your style...you just need to tile the dining room floor now...and bring it in ALL the time. Luckily my wife is VERY bike tolerant..and the bike is OFTEN in the house...sure beats looking at the TV!!!
January 20, 200422 yr Author somehow I don't think she'd go for that one stu, i'm lucky to get in the house sometimes she hates the smell of drying out trials gloves on the radiator to a point where, if i dont keep my eye on 'em she chucks 'em out before they're dry ,i keep tellin her it's a small sacrifice she has to put up with , to get some peace & quiet at weekends. she snores like a bloody train the cheeky mare anyway!
January 20, 200422 yr I used Motul and thought it was ok until I put PJ1 clutch tuner in, what a difference. Don't think I will go back to Motul !
