January 18, 200422 yr I bought a 2-wire kill switch. Wire it up to the 'grey' and the 'green/black' wires in the multi-plug. I think I also connected one of the wires to the frame for a good earth.
January 19, 200422 yr No bike is easier to change to a kill switch than the beta.. If you want to remove all of the lighting wiring (this is the easiest and lightest way) just remove all wires through access hole in top of frame pull slightly and all should come out leaving you with 2 yellow wires( a male and female connector) plug them together... you will have only one wire left which is a black w/white stripe this is your kill switch wire.. hook it to a single wire kill switch and you are finished... If you want to use a two wire kill switch hook one wire to the black w/ white and one to the frame or triple clamp no problem ... 10 minute job ...
January 19, 200422 yr That's really nice! Good to see when a manufacturer takes something like that into account and makes it simple. Go for the 2-wire button. Don't depend on the button body-to- handlebar-to-clamp-to-top tree-to-stem-to-neck bearing-to frame connection for your ground. Go right to the frame.
