This may not see practical application, quite possibly just academic in nature. 2003 300cc pro Top end - Piston, rings, wrist pin, bearing, cylinder, head 2010 250cc pro racing Top end - Piston, rings, wrist pin, bearing, cylinder, head Basic Idea is take the 2003 300 top end put on 2010, take 2010 top end and put on 2003. for a final of 2003 250cc and 2010 300cc. If I understand correctly for the pro motor the cases and stroke are the same for the 250, 280 and 300. just the top end is different. But my question comes into play with the difference in years and one being a "race" model and the other a "standard"
January 21, 20179 yr I think it will. A friend pit a 250 top end on a 300 a few years ago, maybe 2008 ?
January 22, 20179 yr Author thank you for the replies, so basically it will swap but may need some tweaks. the bike I was looking at is sold, but I will keep this information for future use.
