April 27, 20179 yr Popular Post During the a recent visit to the Isle of Man, Terry Crabtree, popular East Midlands and Mansfield Maun organiser, suffered a debilitating Heart Attack which forced a hurried change of plans which saw daughter Karen (sidecar passenger to championship contender Chris Dellow) driving him back to a hospital nearer their home. No sooner had Terry seemed to be on his way to recovering his life style than a second malady struck with a blocked intestinal organ, resulting in an urgent return to Kingsmill Hospital where a significant emergency operation was performed. Terry's lifestyle is now significantly changed, unable to walk or drive, he is confined to a wheelchair - but with daughter Karen driving is currently in the highlands, determined to meet old friends and watch some SSDT action. With Karen piloting the wheelchair the plan is to visit at least one section every day - so if you see the gallant team in action, please, please offer your very best pushing power to help this fine sportsman continue to enjoy the sport that he has spent a major part of his life providing for others.
