Brake Problem

Had my back brake lock up on me twice recently, the first time after taking wheel and pads off and trying to push the pistons back to no avail (all with a large adjustable spanner at the side of the road when plotting the road trial route) it was finally fixed by releasing some fluid from the bleed nipple, brakes were fine for the rest of the day.

Put the fault down to overfilling the reservoir.

It did it again today back brake locked solid, release tiny bit of fluid ran fine for rest of the day cant be to much fluid in the system as its only half full.

The brake lever adjustment is very important. If it's set so there's very little movement at the pedal then when the rear brake heats up after riding for a while the fluid expands and locks the pedal up.Somewhere on the internet there must be some technical details regarding brake lever travel for specific bikes.
