August 25, 20179 yr I said mine will have cost £2500 by the time it's finished, because eventually it'll be full Majesty / modernised with no stone left unturned (The frame goes off to powder coating tomorrow! Woo!)
August 28, 20178 yr Have a look at this one.Pretty darn nice, but I am surprised at what price it is bid up to. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Yamaha-TY175-/272814698146?hash=item3f8505eea2:g:3xgAAOSwxzBZmlP6&vxp=mtr
August 28, 20178 yr Author Well I've bought a scruffy yamaha TY 250 mono for £700 , pick it up this week so will let you know how it is. Edited August 28, 20178 yr by Julian Taff
August 28, 20178 yr That doesn,t look too bad.I had a 350 and other than the awkward kick start I really liked it.The only reason I sold it was because pistons were near impossible to get at the time.
August 29, 20178 yr That looks good, it's not like the chains all rusty etc ... best to start on something that's not all shiny anyway

Fr the money it don't ook bad. I will tidy it up over the winter. I just want something to ride and lean on.
August 29, 20178 yr I second that ... I'm up to my elbows in resto-modding my TY, if I didn't have my Gasgas to wail on I'd have been despondant by now. Also, trials in winter are great fun (apart from the odd bit when you sink up to your hubs in mud, etc) and an essential part of the experience
