August 26, 20179 yr Works perfectly for 30 minutes, then it starts to explode in the exhaust system. Loses all the power and stops. The engine is warm after a few minutes, so heat is probably not the problem. The spark plug is full of soot / black. Since it works well without problems for 30 minutes, we think everything mechanical is fine (nozzle, gas pump, etc.). We have cleaned the connection to ECU, Checked all cables ++ Has anyone experience a similar problem?. Or have any idea what can result in a problem like this?
August 26, 20179 yr sounds like fuel pump or blocked fuel filter sock filter. check posts on fuel pump fixes
August 26, 20179 yr HT coil faulty when hot. Coolant temperature sensor not working - cold start enrichment staying on when engine warm.
August 26, 20179 yr Have you checked your valve clearance? I had this on a different bike because the clearance was to tight and when warm it would leave the valve open just a crack... good luck.
August 27, 20179 yr Does it start again after o few mins stopped? When it starts playing up does it die on full throttle but ok on tick over- then gradualllg get worse when you appply the throttle?

August 28, 20178 yr Fuel pump or filter.. how old is bike.? check previous posts on cleaning filter - the small sock one on end of filter.
August 29, 20178 yr if you can, swop the ECU with another bike, if you still have an issue check/replace the temp sensor in the bottom of the rad - about £25 from memory...
