October 13, 20178 yr Hi, managed to get an afternoon in the garage and discovered the plastic fuel tank on my 349, which shows signs of past repair, is leaking badly from underneath in a few places. Anyone repaired one of these with any success? Cheers.
October 13, 20178 yr Hi I don't know about repairing a tank but there are a couple of second hand 349 tanks on ebay, Off the later model 349s. (grey frame/red tank) Cheers Guy

October 13, 20178 yr If you search some of the TC forums I think you will find that Caswell's tank sealer is most often mentioned and recommended. I've personally used Caswell's on at least 6 tanks, with excellent results.
October 14, 20178 yr It will take some time but I eventually found a used aluminium tank for mine, these fit under the fibreglass cover. The tank currently on my 348 had 349 written on it in felt pen. it wasn't a great fit under my 348 cover but a bit of adjustment and its fine now.
