December 12, 20178 yr Expensive pegs are way over rated. Shop the cheaper ones and buy a new rear tire instead.
December 13, 20178 yr If you really want a top end open set I would go with the S3. There is also a set here (http://rypusa.com/rq-foot-peg/) that are good if you want to spend a bit less.

December 15, 20178 yr What ever you have make sure they are slightly pointing up . a flat or downward pointing footrest will encourage your foot to slip off especially when the bike is leaned over . a good sensible set well set up are better than an expensive set that are slopping downwards
December 15, 20178 yr I'm only a novice trials/trail rider, but I've always felt well-planted on my Pivot Pegz. https://www.pivotpegz.net/ Don't know how a good trials rider would feel about them.
December 15, 20178 yr Pivot pegs will not be as good for more advanced trials moves as they will not provide the ability to move your foot to the outer edges of the peg to give the input you would benefit most by. I would expect that zaps, hoping, splatters, etc to be very hard on them. might be ok for novice or trails. Edited December 15, 20178 yr by jonnyc21
December 16, 20178 yr http://www.raptortitanium.com/trials-footpegs/product/listing.html Their website is still running showing trials footrests as well as a picture of Emma Bristow on the Sherco. Edited December 16, 20178 yr by trialsrfun
