January 8, 20188 yr I've been trying to order a heavier shock spring for my weight but the importer seems to be having issues determining what spring is on the bike. The shock is a fully adjustable comp/reb R16V. It appears to be very similar to what is on the base Montesa. Does anyone know if the spring is the same as the Montesa or of an aftermarket source for a spring, outside of having a spring custom made?

January 9, 20188 yr The front ones are brittle too! Quite a few people here in the UK replace them with Gas Gas ones as they are much more flexible
