Does anybody know an easy way to re-fit the chain tensioner on an 03 pro. just had the suspension in bits to re grease everything, and decided to do the chain tensioner at the same time B) . it took longer to put the tensioner back on than it did to re grease the suspension B) . i must be missing somthing (i'm sure that i could find lots of people to agree with that) B)

Glenn,

Nightmare mate, been there with my 03. Tried for hours.

In the end, replaced the bolt with a length of studding sticking out past the swinging arm, put the assembly on, followed by a thin bolt, studlocked then cut off the excessing studding (if you follow !)

Not ideal, will never make taking it off again any easier, but it worked and lasted 9 months with no problems before the bike was replaced.

I was the same, only took it off as I was servicing the suspension !!

Linkless suspension - now that's an idea, no servicing !!

maybe add a little 4 stroke motor, possibly a freely available 125 engine,

Lets ditch the radiator & fan,

is there a market !!

John.
