This is quite possibly irrelevant, but the original Telesco's on my '74 black framed 247 were 325mm eye to eye.

If you are still using the circlip fixing top and bottom, you also need to pay attention to the i.d. of the eye bushes.....

Wow, I've never seen a C clip to retain a rear shock. Cool idea.

I took the shocks off to grease up the mounts & fter looking at my shocks closely they are actually quite new, they have 504B on the bottom of them? Compared to the gas Betors on my SWM, they are a little oversprung for my weight.

These shocks are all black and oil only, no gas, possibly NJB Clubmans?

I'll give the boys a call tomorrow.

PS I do wonder why trials shocks have gas over oil...it's not what I would call a heavy duty cycle?
