Maxton T260-C Shocks.

Featured Replies

Has anyone on here used Maxton shocks on their Twin Shock Trials bike ?

I'm curious what people know of them and are they worth the expense. Cheers.

A friend has Maxton's,  said they are very good, but no better than the usual contenders which are consistently cheaper. They do look nice however.

(not sure of the model number fitted to his bike)

Thanks, keep the opinions flowing please. I only mentioned the T260-C because that is the shock they recommended from my brief email enquiry with them regarding a Fantic 300. I now realise that they build to spec based around this shock.

Maxton build suspension dampers to suit individual riders weights and preferences and not just for bikes either. They select springs that provide the correct sag and reaction for a particular bike. Mainly road and race but their technology would equally suit a trials machine, good products but expensive because of the time and labour involved.
