When should i change Gearoil?

Featured Replies

I have a Beta Evo 2009 125.

Just wondering when should i change the gearoil?

Every 25h?

i change my gear oil when its a struggle to find neutral , works for me

Gear oil is so cheap and easy to change i dont think theres any real reason not to change it as regularly as you can be bothered.

When i can remember i usually aim to change around 20 hours

The bike is a 2009 and you are asking 9 years on.....

I would have changed the oil long before now at least in 2010, 20111, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 LOL:lol:

I got the bike in summer lol just wondering

If you ride through deepish water and mud it would be a good idea to drain and refill the gearbox straight after that ride. Dry going I’d change the oil every fourth or fifth ride, this of course depends on how long you ride for. If you ride for four hours each ride that’s oil changes every 16-20 hours if use. Keep a note in a diary or on a maintenance log sheet/board.??calendar works as well.?

On a Beta? You're gonna need a tanker!
