Thermostat Bypass

Featured Replies

Need to know your thoughts on running bike with thermostat wires crossed so as fan will be permanently ON?

No chance of getting thermostat until late next week, have a fun day trial on the 3rd (hangover permitting! )

Thanks in advance, Mark

HAVE A GOOD ONE GUYS! :hyper:;););)

Won't be a problem short term - Are you really having a Trial on Tuesday?

Happy New Year ( You should be sober by Tuesday eh ??)

Thats debatable! up here in the highlands new year lasts for days!

it's not a trial as such, it's more of an off road bike day, trials, quad, mx and enduro bikes. gives us a chance to show off our skills to the speed freaks :hyper:

A new fan motor is definently cheaper than a seized engine - keep it shorted till you get a new thermostat

Hope that helped

Rob

Would it be too much trouble to put the cables through a switch or atleast a connector block. That way you can turn the fan on and off at regular intervals. The weather is cold at the minute, so a longish spell with no fan shouldn't be too much of a problem, just dont leave it too long
