Hi left hanger has snapped on my factory 250! has this happened to anyone else and if so can they recommend a fix or is it just a case of having it welded. I'm located in Blackpool area if anyone has reccomendations.

I had an 2006 model that both sides broke off. Had them welded back on and no troubles. They were actually already cracked from manufacture because parts of the cracked surfaces were chromed when the frame was done. 

our importer carried a welder to events for the 2006 models!

I thought I was just unlucky as I've not heard of any more 06's with this problem.

Got an 04 model now and after a close inspection there's no sign of any cracks.

Weight and usage, some of these footrest location mountings do look a little lightweight in construction....just my observation. Potentially with bigger footrests fitted (standard manufacturers pegs replaced) there will be a bit more leverage created at the mounting point and subsequent cracking.?

They beefed them up for 2018 with an added piece metal welded to the bottom of the bottom bracket.
