Nice job, but I saw you cut the rim of the head light. Imagine, in this side of the channel we are looking for these type of headlight rim because it was not sold here....

The only reason I cut off the headlight screen was because it was all warped and broken from the previous riders, before I was given it.. I took it off because in order to make the bike look new, It couldn't have that old bent up POS on it lol

well done jackman excellent job, forget doing another ty175 whats the point in having two of the same model!!! if you want a real challenge what about a ossa mar 250 now thats a bike that looks stunning when restored!!! scotty. :thumbup:

I did the exact same thing as you jackman , except with a ty80.

bought it for my eldest in what I can only call a rough a***d bodge of a restored condition.

It had 3 layers of different coloured paint on the frame , even the chrome wheels were hand painted with silver metallic paint

I have 95% finished it now (needs new footpegs, tank rubbers and the bottom of the forks cleaning) and he had a run out on it last week .

I`m only sorry I never took any pictures of it before, during and after
