April 4, 20197 yr moved my son from a 125 to a used 300 evo out on sunday for the first time and she was lovely and he loved it but a handful searched this site for how to calm her down a bit head insert, slow action throttle, 10t front sprocket all decided upon just checked before ordering anything and she has a 13t front sprocket ! (41r) no wonder she was such a handful and why all sections were in 1st gear moral: always check the basics

April 4, 20197 yr 10t, carbon reeds and a low compression head on mine. Not keen on extra flywheel as they tend to run on a bit more than I like. 13t is a street sprocket.? Edited April 4, 20197 yr by dan williams
April 11, 20197 yr We have a 300 SS. 10t OK for messing around, big hills, & big time. Will catch Joe average out in the sections if you aren't concentrating.(Runs on a bit, due to added inertia. Our bike used in Trials on Yorkshire / Northern rocks & streams. Try a 9, only a tenner.
