Can anybody tell me the weight of the 270 beta, as i can only seem to find info on the 250?

It should be no different than the 250. Same motor. Less material in the jug, bigger piston. That is the major difference in the 2.

I am giong to try to get a certified load cell to bring to the National in Tennessee to have an "Official Scale" to settle the weight question. There always seems to be some Fudging of the numbers, so a weigh-off is in order by an undisputable method!

I have a 1963 cadillac in my garage with a lighter front-end then the Rev 3..........and all that pretty red anodizing should look real girlie when it fades to a nice light pink........Madmax

David - Just weighed the 2004 Rev 270 - and the 2003 Gas Gas 300 Pro

Both bikes full of gas ready to ride

Beta = 165 Pounds

Gas Gas = 155 Pounds

It should be noted that the Beta holds slightly more fuel than the GG

For those that don't know a USA pound is the same as a UK pound. The thing that is different is a USA gallon to a UK gallon.
