Drain plug thread size? Techno, rev, Evo...

Featured Replies

The previous owner of my techno has stripped the Allen bolt on the sump plug for the gearbox... Does anyone know the thread size? I don't fancy taking it out without a new one to put back in and Nobody in Germany stocks specific beta oil plugs...

Thanks for your help!

I doubt that it's the thread on the plud that's gone, it's more normal for the ally case to have stripped or is that sod's law???

Old p/n 2900450 000   was updated to 2900451 000   still used in the modern Beta.   thread 16mm     x    1.25 thread pitch

If it is the same then I think it is : https://www.trials-action.de/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=27&products_id=1176&osCsid=d03c3dfb5a286e5b956b0bba4b3439fa

The filler and drain are the same thread I believe?

pattern part?

I wish my German was better.

kinderleicht!

[edit] I can see why you are struggling - I would have thought there were lots of on line places in Germany but there are not [/edit]

Sometimes it just pays to stick at it ?
