April 27, 20206 yr hi im rebuilding a gasgas txt280 pro 2006 and all ok but the crankcase gasket is just to tight as it goes around the crankshaft i have tried 3 gaskets all the same any idears
April 27, 20206 yr Author quick update soaked the gasket inwater for a bit got it to fit put the bolts in to hold it in place will let it dry out for day or so and see what hapens might glue it in place with a bit of sealant
April 28, 20206 yr Yes as Lineaway said, check you are using MT280344001 which is the case gasket from 2003 onwards (hence the 3 in the part number) Not MT280244001 which was the 2002 gasket. (almost the same, but not quite). MT280344001 fits 2003 to 2020 Edited April 28, 20206 yr by arnoux
