May 5, 20206 yr I am trying to find out what is the spoke off set to the rear of an 81 248 cota. I have sent the wheels off my 248 to be rebuilt, before sending off to the wheel builder I decided to strip them myself so I could polish the rims and hubs. This has proved to be a bit of a possible oversight as the first question I am asked is do I know what the offset is, he has looked a various sites with out success. Any help would be most helpful.
May 6, 20206 yr What about mounting the hubs then use a plumb line from the centre of the rear frame, a bit of careful measuring should give you the required numbers.
May 10, 20206 yr You are in luck. I am currently building a 1981 248 - Red frame, white tank cover over alloy tank. I have dug out the drawing and dimensions that I measured before building my wheels up. Hold fire and I will post them up.
