September 1, 20205 yr I really do like the M graphic on the tank. Nice. Less keen on some of the other clip art style graphics across the rest of the bike (that awful ‘Montesa’ on the seat area - just looks terrible - same on the 2020 4RT). Never quite understand the need to have so much going on - less is definitely more. The bikes look awesome and don’t need so much unnecessary (& poorly designed) fuss on graphics.
September 1, 20205 yr Well they just finally beat out Beta for the worst fender design ever. Did they use a `57 chevy bel air or a F`14 fighter jet for the idea???

Other than the stickers the rear design looks the same as the 2020 301 RR to me... and I agree its a pore design. Edited September 2, 20205 yr by jonnyc21

Might look weird but is very effective. The end flare keeps the mud off your back - something that the last design did not do -(I used to run pre 14 rear mudguards on my 15 - 260 and 300RR when wet and boggy as more effective) and the ridges help give some strength but also take the knocks first and hence protect the plastic and stickers down in the valley so maintaining appearance.
September 2, 20205 yr I much prefer the plain ally frame which shows off the welding around the head stock

September 2, 20205 yr Crikey! That’s a long winded way to say “new stickers”. Does the PR agent get paid by the word? I’ll write the 2022 press release for them now. “It ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
September 5, 20205 yr Next year's model will be back to red ? I've just bought a grey one and love it but I reckon the colour will date quickly (have some red bits coming). Not so keen on the black fork boots... But underneath all that, same great bike ?
September 21, 20205 yr I know they made a lot of changes for the 2020 engine braking wise, but they should make them lighter, but it may compromise their reliability reputation, I love my '20. If they shaved 4 kg off it I'd buy one Edited September 21, 20205 yr by retromlc
