February 3, 200620 yr Hi I was just wondering if any one on here is riding the Phil King Trial in colchester in april. It has now been recognised as a national event so i will definitely observe the hardest section i can find (only 16 so cant ride due to road) Hope to see some of you there it really is a good trial also i get to ride most of the sections afterwards as im local YESS!!
February 3, 200620 yr Yes I will ride it. Missed last year, but have ridden for the last 5 years prior to that. Its a good trial. Not quite as muddy since they moved it to April I understand. Result!
February 6, 200620 yr Going to give it a go again this year. I live about 5 miles from the start so no excuses there. I just hope I can improve my finishing position from last year. The only riders I managed to beat were non-finishers! My excuse, I rode a 71 Sherpa and rode most of the event without brakes. As they say "A bad workman always blames his tools". Stuart
