I am going to look at a second hand 2020 300 GP model and just wondered if there were any common problems to look out for?

Also any tips on things that should be done to the bike from standard?

A bike that age i cant imagine much being wrong. Check that the clutch isn't draggy and maybe give the gearbox a run up to 6th and back

If it's carbon airbox you shouldn't have the usual water mud issues. Linkage needs maintenance but most bikes do. Kickstart is prone to shedding teeth if not used properly. Kehien carb needs a fiddle to get it how you like it but apart from those easy fixes can't think of anything else.
