I pulled this bike apart and can find the pics I took of the dissassembly. Got everything placed except the CDI box. There is a metal bar with a slight bend in it that goes underneith a rubber mount, but I can't figure out where it mounts to the frame.

It should be as easy as taking the top plastic cover off from the fuel fill port to the seat and snapping a few pics.

I think it mounts either below the rear brake reservior or closer to the rear shock where the frame narrows.

Got it, Was using the wrong bolt hole.

 If I remember correctly I always ran on reserve or the cdi box could hit the petcock and break off the arm.

I don't have that issue.

Do note that there is a small fuel tube that goes between the two sides of the frame. Make sure the clutch line runs IN FRONT of that. If not, the fuel petcock will always hit that.
