February 15, 20215 yr Hi I am new to this forum and I would like to give a brief introduction. My name is Richard and I am from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, over the years I have had many bikes and restored quite a few mainly classic 2 strokes. Any how i have just acquired my first trial bike, and I am trying to identify the correct model and year of the bike. I think its a Montesa Cota 200 but I am not sure. The Frame number is 29 M02504, and the engine number is 28H00420, does this seem correct. many thanks in advance for any info you can give me. Regards Richard.
February 15, 20215 yr frame is a 200 engine is a 125, looks like someone has swopped engines at some stage in it's life.

February 15, 20215 yr they were both 6 speed so that isn't an indication, but I believe the 200 (actually 173cc) will fit
