Newbie to this forum looking for help

thinking of buying 4ride for casual green laning. reviews tell of the gear selector being a long way from the footrest but that there is a gear selector you can get to bring it back to the 'normal riding position' is this true and will it be in a position like any other trail bike? and is it expensive

also could I fit a 2ltr petrol jerry under the seat??

 

Haven’t ever seen one in real life but in the video I did see with the seat off it might fit a 1 ltr in there but I doubt you could get a 2 ltr under it.  If you really want an extra couple of ltr’s or more I think you will need some other solution.  Good luck.

I fit 1 litre in a round metal climbing style fuel can under the seat in mine, plus tools and a butty. The shifter is just the same as a stadard 4RT, I've often thought of buying the S3 lever kit, but never got round to it, i just use it as is.
