Diaphragm clutch?

Featured Replies

They are getting near the bottom of the container of old clutch baskets they bought in 1966 and evaluating what next.

Enduro bikes are also moving to a diaphragm clutch as well, I wish they weren’t.
My husky TE has one. I’m not convinced it operates as nice as a traditional spring clutch. One reason I got my RR is it still had a traditional clutch.

Well the diaphragm clutch is still a spring. Just a different type. The main difference is it uses half the plates. Less hydraulic drag and more effective clearance between the plates for the same throw.
