Need some help

After top and bottom rebuild
Kick stert kick back almost every time, already broke kickstart pinion and engine
want to start running backwards. 

When the engine start good it works ok. 

Plug: br7es, base gasket 1.3mm

Ignition timing issue

I agree with reggie above, however the plug seems strange. I thought the pro's all used a 5 heat range plug. My 2012 uses a NGK BPR5ES.

Yep NGK BPR5ES is the correct plug

Base gasket should be ok. 

Timing issue could be flywheel that was not located properly when installed after rebuild.  Kick back is generally advanced timing.

Reassembled without the Woodruff key (to ensure correct alignment of the flywheel on the crank, and thus the timing of the ignition)?
