July 30, 20215 yr Hi, Can anyone shed light on the tank & seat units (White) on these models (80/81), I have noticed on photographs that there are two variants! One being the seat area rolls over on top of the rear shocks and the other being smooth (shock totally exposed) My model is the totally exposed version. Somebody has pointed out that it probably isn't original and could be off a 250? Regards Edited July 31, 20215 yr by Crozzy Attach Photos

July 31, 20215 yr The rolled over version is clearly shown in sales brochures so there should be no doubt that both versions were standard for the Cota 200
July 31, 20215 yr Upper pic is of a later 200 with engine frame guards , lower pic ( actually a friends bike ) is early 200 these tend to have an alloy tank under the shelter and shock mounts are much wider on the frame

Happier, now i know its not a different bikes tank. Thanks.
August 1, 20215 yr The bike with the exposed shocks is the later Cota 200 C, there were quite a few improvements to the carb and exhaust system etc. over the earlier bikes. Edited August 4, 20215 yr by topline620
