Sounds more than an idle. What oil ratio are you mixing in that old Bike. My first trials bike was a 1970 247 also, but that was 50 years ago!

    Sounds pretty normal to me but I may be missing exactly what you are hearing. Might have a bit of piston rattle but not unusual imo. The cylinder fins can make any noise sound louder some times. Also try pulling the clutch in at idle to see if it changes. You might be hearing some primary gear noise..
