Hello, 
when starting the kickstarter always blocked on the footrest. 
Please your advice. Should I change the footpegs or the fork? 
I have the short lever and that works fine form me. 
Who has a long fork and who has a short one?

File the kickstart where it is getting jammed, they sometimes build a small piece of aluminium that hooks into the peg.

Remove the studs in the peg.

You could remove the spring from the foot-peg, so that you can fold it up out of the way before you kick it.  An extra washer will stiffen it up.   

My Bultco 350, TL125 Honda and Montesa 349 all hit the footrest. 

I followed the TL solution for the Spanish bikes and fitted a spring hook to hold the footrest up out of the way giving a lovely long swing for easy starting.

Once warm if you stall a quick prod gets it going without having to hook up the footrest.
