May 7, 200620 yr I now have exact copies of tlr250 tanks/seat base w/sticker available in fiberglass comes with cap and petcock. I am sure the B&J tank is a copy of the Chris Johnson copy of 1984 HRC RS250ta trials bike.But it is nice to know I can get a replacement tank if I ever smash,crash, or dammage 1 of my 2 originals............tried to send photo but came back to large....
May 9, 200620 yr Hi there Hap! Didn't know you were still messing about with TLR's and such. (We talked years ago on the phone). I live in Maryland and ride a TLR 250F in vintage competition. Is anyone making a plastic TLR replica tank? My 1985 TLR has the two piece seat/tank combo. Actually my tank is in pretty good shape with only one ding, but I'd love to put on a crash proof replacement. What's the price on your fiberglass seat/tank combo? Just curious. All the best! Bryan
