March 9, 200620 yr Anyone know if beta has a proper mechanical site or something? eg where i could dl a service manual
March 10, 200620 yr there is a parts diagram thing, which aint great, but I think if you do a search on here, you'll find a link to it. Apart from that, I dont think there is much...sorry. Official Italy Beta site doesnt have anything like that as far as I remember
March 10, 200620 yr I tried to get hold of a new manual for my 97 Techno but failed. I did, however, watch for a similar bike on ebay with a manual, and offered the seller
March 10, 200620 yr im just about to put a manual for an 03 as i just got the manual for my 02 as this helps with the rear shock and forks because theyre both a bit different to an 03 Look up beta manual on ebay
March 10, 200620 yr If you want a manual try e-mailing the beta factory in Italy and tell then your year and model and stuff. If they have a manual scanned into their computer they will send you that, or if not they may have books available. Both are free (I got a manual for an 03 posted over from italy for free) Try that before you try to get one on ebay. Bob
March 10, 200620 yr Thanks for that bob Now no ones going to bid on my manual on ebay GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
March 10, 200620 yr oh yeah if you do email beta FAO it to Gianluca Olivieri and it will get done quicker. This doesnt mean i like you bob lol
March 10, 200620 yr Whoops sorry , i never thought of that, hopefully I will have made more friends than lost. Do you want me to delete that post until your item has been sold? seriously, then everyone is happy! Bob
March 11, 200620 yr nah i was only joking thats how i got my new manual i would leave email address (honestly) if i could remember it but i cant
March 12, 200620 yr Author have trie dringing but is only open mon- fri Does anyone know the factory settings for the mixture screw and idle screw on teh carb? Beta 250 Jordi Tennon special (beta bashers old bike)
March 14, 200620 yr try e-mailing info@betamotor.com and then FAO ing it to that bloke. as regards mixture screw and tickover screw surely that will be quite a bike and area specific thing although with the mixture screw (and needle position) presuming that it has standard jets there will be a starting point to work from I would have thought.
