Looking to put my new to me trials bike back to the stock springs as it had heavier springs for a previous rider and noticed the preload collar that was installed in it seems to be cracked. So I got to measuring and with the adjuster backed all the way out it has a preload of 9mm does this sound right or to much? I'm used to Enduro forks that run around 4 mm just wondering before I go and remake a new one. I don't know if this was factory length or modified for the heavier rider. Currently the spacer is 29mm long.
