April 8, 20242 yr Hi All, I'm looking to buy a pre 65 trials bike to one day compete in the Scottish and other pre 65 events. I am a modern trials rider and the pre 65 scene seems a bit of a mine field...I am 6 foot 5 and 105kg's so it needs to be something with reasonable power, although I appreciate it's not going to perform like a modern trials bike. I like the look of the tiger cubs and I know someone who has a good one for sale (230cc), but people tell me they can be a pain to set up. BSA C15 also seems like a popular option, but reasonably heavy? And I think a Bantam would be underpowered? If anyone can provide a bit of advice, that would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
