Does anyone no how to get more power out of an 03 250 with out to much of a cost??

Another quick one remove the extra weight from the flywheel,that makes it pick up quicker,if it is allready off and you still need more power buy a fireblade engine

If engine is sound - fit fast throttle, remove flywheel for intant zip.

Thinner base gaskets are available too.

However 03 engines are softer tuned than 04/05 units.

Try and repack your tail pipe, that will give you low end power.

When I got mine used I pulled off the whole exhaust system. Had the main pipe vatted to remove carbon buildup, then I burned out the center with a torch & used a wire brush to get the burned crud out. Repacked the muffler and it was real nice afterwards. You can do this for cheap. But this will help the low-end mostly.
