April 9, 200620 yr Hi, I've been reading the forum for a while now but this is my first post. I'm looking for some help. I have an '87 drum brake RTL250S which needs the kick-start replacing (the current one works but has been welded up). Finding one of these is appears more difficult than locating Osama Bin laden. Does any body know if another Honda kick-start will fit the RTL ?? Thanks
April 9, 200620 yr Flasher, try a 4rt kickstart on the shaft of an RTL,see if it fits, it looks the same setup, yes the kickstart is shorter on the 4rt. Shafts on the TLR and the RTL are different.
April 9, 200620 yr A brand new one form the Honda dealer 86.- euro thats about 62 GBP. I can get it in two days.
April 9, 200620 yr Author Hi '85TLR, Is the kick-start you can source for an RTL or 4RT?. The 4RT kick-start does look similar (smaller) but i'm not sure if the shafts will be the same size. According to the parts list the RTL kick-start is Part number : 28300-ND9-010

April 9, 200620 yr Partnumber of a kickstarter tlr 200 28300-KJ2-670 I think this fits and stil availeble at your hond dealer.
