Howdy everyone! I have been reading this forum for many many years. I am 60 years old and started riding motorcycles when I was five. I've owned just about everything you can think of. About 10 years ago my boys and I all had Gas Gas TXT 300s. At the time we lived in rural Kansas in the Kansas River Valley that had heavy woods and Rocky bluffs and lots of creeks etc. Those bikes were powerful and athletic, but I found them a bit too much at times. Fast forward to today, and I now live in Steamboat Springs Colorado with access to a lot of beautiful single track Mountain trails. I recently purchased a 1974 Yamaha TY250 which is much more my riding style at this point in my life. I am looking forward to getting back into some great trials riding.

Welcome to the forum! I had a 1974 TY250 myself when I was 15. I absolutely loved that bike. I had a crash on it and was hospitalized with a concussion and when I got home from the hospital I couldn’t find my TY in the garage. My mother sold it. She kept the money from the sale too!

See your other post about a seat. I sent you some options.
